ممـدوح

المادة: وسائط مختلفة(زيت, اكريلك, باستيل, فحم, ورماد) القياس: 4 قطع ( 93*64)سم, 2006.

ممدوح، كان واحداً من أصدقائي المقربين، وكان فناناً موهوباً متخصصا في فن البورتريت. أٌصيب في الثالث والعشرين من شهر حزيران 2005 اصابة مباشرة خطيرة على اثر انفجار سيارةٍ مفخخة في منطقة الكرادة في بغداد/ العراق. بعد اسبوع من الصراع مع الأصابة... توفي! منقطعاً عن حياةٍ فنية كان من الممكن ان يقدم فيها الكثير من عطاءٍ فني مميز.

العمل الفني الذي يحمل اسمه يتكون من اربع لوحات عمودية قياس الواحدة (93*64) سم, على شكل سلسلة. اللوحة الأولى رسم بورتريت لممدوح ، مصوراً فيه الشبه الواقعي والروحي فيه. بينما في اللوحة الثانية ذات الصورة الشخصية مرسومةً بكنه الالوان وقد بدت ملامحه تتلاشى وتبدو الألوان وقد عادت الى اصولها الأساسية.

أما في اللوحة الثالثة، فهي لحظة الأنخطاف من الواقع الى المطلق اللامنتهي.الوجه الذي بات متشحاً باللون الأسود فقد رسمته بالرماد المحروق الذي جمعته من حطام السيارة المحترقة نفسها. اما القطعة الرابعة فهي مجرد كانفاس ابيض. في هذه اللوحة الثالثة أطلب من المتلقي ان يلمس اللوحة بيده, وكنتيجةٍ لذلك فانهاستتسخ بالسواد، لذا أرجو من المتلقي ان يمسح كفه منظفاً اياه في اللوحة الرابعة والتي هي عبارة عن قماش نقي أبيض تماما. وكنتيجة لذلك ستغطي طبعات الأصابع والأكف جسد القماشة البيضاء, وأُولى هذه الطبعات ستكون بصماتي أنا.بهذا ستُصوَرالقطعة الأخيرة بمشاركة من الزوار والمتلقين.

مضمون العمل الفني تتجسد بفكرة خلاصتها: اننا جميعاً مسؤولون عن الحد من تفاقم الفوضى في هذا العالم, وبترسيخ مفاهيم المحبة,الأخلاص والأمل... وعليه نثبت ببصماتنا اننا امام مسؤوليةٍ متجددة في السعي لأحلال السلام بيننا وفي الكون اجمع.

Mamdooh; was one of my dearest friends. He was an Iraqi talented portrait artist. On 23/ July/ 2005 a bombed car exploded in Karrada in Baghdad-Iraq, where many people injured and died, my friend Mamdooh was one of them. He left us after one week of struggling against death.
The Art Work consists of four (93*64) cm. paintings with vertical composition; they are exhibiting like series. The first painting is a half portrait of Mamdooh by an expressionist style focusing on his appearance or look.

The second painting is a ghostly figure with transparency much like his character, full of hue colors. I depicted the third one with ashes, which I collected from the same bombed car, and mixed with coal and charcoal to represent that Mamdooh was gone. The fourth picture is a clear and blank, it's just white canvas.

Candidly, as we know very well that it's prohibited to touch the Art works in Galleries and Museums, but in this artwork, I come up with something new to complete the fourth painting! Therefore, I would like to ask my audiences to live this moment as a kind of sharing and participating to the message that I want to deliver.

At any rate; I may ask the participant to touch the third painting, their palm will be stained with blackness of ashes. After this step I request to wipe them on the fourth piece as a sign for their participation. The result of the 4th piece will be created with the finger prints of the viewers and participants.

The Philosophy of the painting concept is to tell all the human on the face of earth to take a part in retrieving the piece to this world on a daily basis, so as to make it the best place to live in, and as we all know many hands make the lights work



Titre de l’œuvre d’art: Mamdooh

Mamdooh : Il était un des mes amis les plus chers. Un artiste talentueux de l’Iraq. Le 23 juillet 2005 une voiture piégée a explosé à Karrada à Bagdad, Iraq, où plusieurs personnes ont été blessées et tuées. Mon ami Mamdooh était parmi eux. Il nous a quitté après une semaine de lutter contre la mort.
L’œuvre d’art consiste en quatre peintures de 93x64 cm, composition verticale, qui constituent une série. La première peinture c’est un demi-portrait de Mamdooh, style expressionniste, qui met le regard sur son apparence.

La deuxième peinture c’est une figure fantomatique, transparente, comme son propre caractère. Plein de couleurs, de tonalité. La troisième peinture à été fait avec de la cendre, du charbon et du fusain, et contient des lignes au hasard – Mamdooh n’est plus là. La quatrième peinture est vide. Seulement de la toile blanche.
D’une manière franche, car on sait très bien qu’il est normalement défendu de toucher les œuvres d’art dans les galeries et les musées, j’ai décidé de faire quelque chose de très différent pour cette dernière peinture là. J’aimerais demander à mon publique de vivre ce moment en partageant et en participant au message que j’aimerais livrer.

En tout cas, c’est possible que j’aille demander aux participants de toucher la troisième peinture. Ses paume vont être tachée de la noirceur du charbon. Après cela je vais leur demander de toucher la quatrième peinture avec leurs mains tachées comme signe de leur participation. La quatrième pièce va être crée avec les empreintes des doigts des spectateurs et les participants.
La philosophie du concept des peintures c’est de demander à tous les êtres humains sur terre de participer chaque jour à rétablir la paix sur cette terre, pour qu’elle devienne la meilleure place de vivre. Comme nous savons tous, beaucoup de mains font fonctionner les lumières.

Cet œuvre d’art va être exposé dans une exhibition de l’artiste qui aura lieu à Fribourg en Suisse, le 10 novembre 2006 – organisé par l’association Basmat Al-Qarib, en coordination avec Patrice Meyer-Bisch (Coordinateur de l’EDH et Chaire UNESCO pour les droits de l’homme et la démocratie)
